NOFA Spring Bulk Order
Ordering supplies for the new growing season has been in full swing. The Northeast Farming Association offers people the ability to save some money on some of the supplies they buy. All orders are aggregated then volume discounts applied from various supply companies. This saves a large of amount of money on heavy items such as potting soil, that are charged large shipping fees. All items are then picked up at farms who have volunteered to be a pick up site. I ordered potting soil for seedlings and a variety of potatoes from Moose Tubers. They offer a great selection of organic seed potatoes. If you have been buying organic potatoes and you store them on the counter, you may have seen your potatoes start to sprout. These potatoes could be planted as well if you wanted to grow potatoes.
